How to participate in the selection

  • The Master's course in Urban Analysis and Management is accessed through a public selection, according to the methods specified below.
  • The maximum number of registrations is 17. The course will not be activated if the enrollments are less than 5; in this case the reimbursement of the registration fee eventually paid will be given.
  • As resolved by the Academic Bodies, there is an additional 1 free place reserved for the University's technical-administrative staff - which can not be counted for the number of scholarships referred to in the following article 9, paragraph 5. The methods of access to the course by of the administrative technical staff concerned, are defined by a special provision of the General Manager of 31 December 2015 - prot. n. 178709 - (2289), on the proposal of the Joint Training Commission. The registration will be in any case subject to authorization by the manager of the affiliate, according to the procedures established by law.
  • Candidates - either from the European Union or equivalent or from outside the European Union residing abroad - must complete the application for participation in the selection only on-line, using the procedure at https://ammissioni.unifi.it where also enter the data related to your curriculum vitae. The service will be active until 13.00 (Italian time) on 8 January 2019. Beyond this deadline the link is deactivated and it is no longer possible to complete the application and, therefore, participate in the selection. Applications for participation received with methods and times other than those referred to in paragraph 1 above are not accepted.
  • At the end of the procedure for completing the application for admission, the system requests the payment of € 30.00, as a contribution to administrative costs related to the selection. This payment can be made directly on-line by credit card or by means of a nominal bulletin that the system generates. The payment methods are indicated on the bulletin itself. The candidate is considered to be regularly enrolled in the selection only after having made - by the deadline indicated in paragraph 1 above - the payment of the aforementioned contribution. At the request of the candidate, the above contribution can be reimbursed only if - at the end of the admission procedures, including possible extensions or reopening of the terms - the number of applications for admission is less than the minimum number required for the activation of the course and therefore do not give place to the selection. In the case described above, the model of the application is published on https://ammissioni.unifi.it in the spaces dedicated to the Master in accordance with this decree.
  • During the on-line application procedure for the admission application, both the European Union candidate or equivalent and the non-European Union candidate residing abroad who presents a qualification obtained abroad, must attach a copy - in pdf format dimensions not exceeding 2 MB - under penalty of exclusion from the selection. When registering for the course, this title must in any case be duly completed by the Italian diplomatic or consular authority responsible for the territory in accordance with the regulations in force (translated, authenticated, legalized and provided with the expected value declarations).
  • Any change related to deadlines is communicated through a notice on the website at https://ammissioni.unifi.it, corresponding to the title of the Master subject of this decree.
  • Personal communications will not be provided.
  • The selection of candidates for enrollment in the Master's program consists in examining the applications and titles presented online.
